Barry Ferguson has called on Rangers to make a move for Motherwell’s young talent Lennon Miller, insisting the 18-year-old is “ready” to play for the Glasgow club.
Miller has started the season strongly for Motherwell and was previously linked with a move to Ibrox during the summer transfer window【Football Scotland, 10 July】. While a hefty transfer fee may be required to secure the youngster, Ferguson believes Rangers should act swiftly to bring him in.
Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show (7 October), Ferguson said, “I do think there are players who are certainly good enough. Talking from a Rangers point of view, Derek mentions a young guy that we’ve spoken about on a number of occasions, young Lennon Miller. I think he’s ready. The boy’s ready to go and play, there’s no doubt about it, and if I’m Rangers, I’m all over the top of that.”
Miller has impressed many with his performances this season, and Ferguson’s comments add to growing calls for Rangers to make a move for the rising star.
