Heart and Hand’s David Edgar has delivered a scathing critique of Rangers defender Robin Propper, highlighting concerns about his physicality since joining the club. Edgar’s remarks come as Propper faces mounting pressure to prove himself as a reliable member of the squad.
In a post on X, Edgar drew parallels between Propper and former Rangers player Ben Davies, who struggled with similar issues during his time at Ibrox. “We won’t get anywhere with centre-halves who can be bullied. Saw it with Davies, seeing it with Propper,” Edgar stated, emphasizing the need for a more assertive defensive presence.
Davies, who joined Rangers in 2022, often found himself overpowered by stronger opponents and is currently out on loan at Birmingham City. For Propper, who reportedly had reservations about moving to Ibrox, establishing himself as a first-team regular will require a significant improvement in his performances.
