‘Stop Crying’ – Rangers’ Ianis Hagi and Agent Criticized by Stevie Clifford Amid Transfer Speculation

Rangers midfielder Ianis Hagi and his agent have come under fire from Stevie Clifford following recent developments at Ibrox, just days before the transfer deadline.

Hagi, who has been relegated to working with the B Team this season, recently stated on Instagram that he has not requested to leave Glasgow, despite persistent rumors linking him with a move away from the club.

In recent weeks, Hagi’s future has been a topic of discussion, particularly by his agent and father, Gheorghe Hagi. Both have openly commented on the Romanian international’s situation, adding fuel to the speculation. However, their public remarks have not been well-received by some.

Stevie Clifford, host of the “Four Lads Had A Dream” podcast, expressed his frustration with the ongoing commentary surrounding Hagi’s situation. Speaking on the Rangers Review YouTube channel on August 28, Clifford criticized the continuous updates from Hagi’s camp.

“What I would say is with his dad and his agent, they’re always coming out with something,” Clifford remarked. “His agent says there’s a lot of interest in Ianis, that he’ll be moving soon, that he’s out of contract this summer, and so on.”

Clifford continued, “Stop crying your heart out. He [the agent] says so much, and his dad as well. Look, I’m a wee bit fed up with it. I think everybody will feel that way—it’s a shame for Ianis as well because I can’t help but feel that his career is stalling.”

He concluded by emphasizing the need for Hagi to find a move that suits him, stating, “He needs to get a move that suits him. I don’t think that even if his wages were reconstructed and everything else, he’s adding much at this moment in time to [manager] Clement’s team. I don’t think Clement fancies him; if he did, he would have had it sorted by now.”

As the transfer window draws to a close, the future of Ianis Hagi remains uncertain, with fans and pundits alike awaiting any final decisions regarding his career at Rangers.
