Sky Sports Pundit Unhappy with What He’s Heard from Todd Cantwell

Former Rangers striker Kenny Miller has criticized Todd Cantwell’s recent comments, saying the midfielder needs to accept the pressure that comes with playing for a big club like Rangers.

Miller’s comments come after a recent string of impressive performances by Cantwell, including a man-of-the-match display against Dundee in midweek. However, Miller took issue with Cantwell’s focus on silencing critics after playing well.

“I’m sorry, Todd, but you’re at Rangers,” Miller said according to the Daily Record. “That comes with the territory. When you’re on top in Glasgow, everyone loves you and you’re praised to the hilt. When you’re second best, the flak flies. That’s the way it is – and it’s where Rangers are right now. Whether he likes it or not, their recent form has been poor.”

Miller acknowledged Cantwell’s recent good form but believes the midfielder needs to focus on helping Rangers improve their results rather than worrying about critics.
