Ridvan Yilmaz Rejects Transfer Rumors, Commits to Rangers for Next Season

Rangers left-back Ridvan Yilmaz has dismissed speculation linking him with a summer exit, insisting he’s happy at Ibrox and focused on returning for pre-season training.

Yilmaz, who established himself as the first-choice left-back last season, has been linked with a move away throughout his time at Rangers, including during the January transfer window. With the arrival of Brazilian full-back Jefte, rumors swirled again about a potential sale to fund further signings.

However, the 23-year-old Turk has been quick to shut down the talk. “I am very happy at Rangers right now and there is no thought about any future transfer for me,” Yilmaz declared.

“I am enjoying my break with my family here and I will return to Scotland in time for the pre-season training camp soon,” he added, emphasizing his commitment to the club.

Rangers are expected to be active in the transfer market this summer, with several players like John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, and Borna Barisic departing after their contracts expired. However, it appears Yilmaz won’t be joining the exodus.
