Rangers Star Ianis Hagi’s Future Uncertain as Fenerbahce Link Emerges

Rangers midfielder Ianis Hagi faces an uncertain future at the club with reports suggesting a possible move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce this summer.

Hagi spent last season on loan at Spanish La Liga side Alaves, leaving his position at Ibrox unclear. With the arrival of former Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho at the helm of Fenerbahce, speculation has swirled about a potential transfer.

Hagi’s agent, Victor Becali, recently spoke to Fanatik about the possibility, stating, “Currently we don’t know anything concrete regarding the transfer of Ianis Hagi to Fenerbahce. You know very well what our relationship is with Jose Mourinho. At the moment there is nothing. But that doesn’t mean Ianis Hagi couldn’t reach Fenerbahce.”

Becali continued, highlighting Mourinho’s past interest in Hagi, “Mourinho has always liked Ianis Hagi. Always saw him as a high quality player. There are elections now at Fenerbahce. After things calm down, Mourinho also gets down to business and makes the transfer list.”

“We can’t confirm now that Ianis will end up at Fenerbahce, but anything can happen in the near future,” Becali concluded, leaving the door open for a potential move.
