Rangers in Limbo Over Abdallah Sima Transfer as Brighton Seek New Boss

Rangers’ hopes of signing Abdallah Sima permanently have been put on hold as Brighton & Hove Albion focus on appointing a new manager.

The English Premier League club recently dismissed Roberto de Zerbi and are expected to name a replacement soon, with reports suggesting German coach Fabian Hurzeler is frontrunner for the job.

This managerial change throws a wrench into Rangers’ plans. The Scottish club, managed by Philippe Clement, are big admirers of Sima, who impressed on loan last season with 16 goals and 2 assists before an injury setback. He even managed a goal against rivals Celtic upon his return.

However, with a new manager likely wanting to assess the Brighton squad himself, a decision on Sima’s future is on hold. This leaves Rangers waiting to learn if their pursuit of the Senegalese winger will be successful.
