Rangers Face £8 Million Fee for Bojan Miovski, Says Expert

Rangers would have to pay £8million to secure Abdereen forward Bojan Miovski during the summer transfer window, according to Jonny McFarlane.

The 24-year-old North Macedonian international has been the subject of transfer rumors linking him to a move to Ibrox this summer. Former Dons boss Neil Warnock had previously indicated that he anticipates Miovski’s departure by the end of the season, with Glasgow being a possible destination.

McFarlane, a journalist for Rangers Review, expressed his admiration for Miovski’s talent, stating, “I think he is a phenomenal talent. I really, really like him, I think he would be the perfect signing [for Rangers].”

However, McFarlane cautioned that the deal might not come cheap. “I don’t think there is any doubt that Aberdeen are going to ask for top, top money for this guy,” he said during an appearance on the Rangers Review YouTube channel. “It will depend on how much interest there is, but I would not be surprised if Aberdeen will be looking for £8 million for Miovski.”

He further added, “They can want £8 million and if nobody comes in with that, obviously that price will go down, but for Championship clubs, £8 million is not a lot of money and I would be surprised if there wasn’t interest in that kind of area for him.”

McFarlane speculated on other potential suitors, saying, “I think Celtic like the look of him, but would they pay that? I’m not sure, but he’s a really, really dangerous player.”

If Rangers are to secure Miovski’s services, they may need to be prepared to meet Aberdeen’s demands in what promises to be a competitive market for the talented forward.
