Rangers Eye Two Transfers before Deadline amid Key Exits

Rangers Football Club is gearing up for an active transfer window, with more than two signings expected before the August 30 deadline, according to sources from The 4th Official. The Glasgow side is targeting reinforcements in various positions, as manager Philippe Clement seeks to strengthen the squad.

Key departures could pave the way for these new arrivals. Todd Cantwell and Scott Wright are reportedly poised to leave Ibrox, with Wright likely to join Birmingham City on a permanent deal, according to Sky Sports. Cantwell’s future also appears uncertain, potentially freeing up space and funds for new signings.

One of the top targets for Rangers is Hoffenheim defender Stanley N’Soki. Clement, who has previously worked with N’Soki, is keen to bring the player to Glasgow. The deal’s main hurdle is the cost, but discussions are reportedly underway for an initial loan move, according to L’Equipe.

This transfer activity follows the recent departure of Ben Davies, who has joined Birmingham City on loan. N’Soki is seen as a direct replacement for Davies, and his addition would be a significant boost for the squad.

As the transfer deadline approaches, Clement is hopeful that new signings will arrive to bolster the team. With Celtic having lost key player Matt O’Riley, Rangers aim to level the playing field ahead of the upcoming Old Firm clash.
