Kenny Dalglish Blown Away by Impressive Rangers Star Ahead of Hibs Clash

Rangers midfielder Mohamed Diomande has left a lasting impression on football legend Sir Kenny Dalglish with his stellar performances since joining Ibrox in January.

The Ivorian midfielder, who initially joined Philippe Clement’s side on loan from Nordsjaelland, has quickly become a standout player in Glasgow. In his first six Premiership matches, Diomande scored twice and provided an assist against Benfica, showcasing his talent on the field. Rangers are anticipated to secure the 22-year-old on a permanent basis in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Sir Kenny Dalglish, expressing his admiration for Diomande, remarked, “I really like the look of Mohamed Diomande. He has settled very quickly and put in some impressive displays in the middle of the park.”

Dalglish also highlighted the performances of other Rangers players, stating, “Beside him, John Lundstram, Dujon Sterling, and Ridvan Yilmaz have also caught the eye.”

Writing in The Sunday Post, featured on the back page of the pull-out on March 10, Dalglish shared his thoughts on the upcoming match, saying, “Hibs, of course, will have a plan to stop the Gers today and also impose themselves in the final third of the pitch. It makes for a really good contest, and I think the Gers may well just sneak it.”
