Kenny Dalglish Believes Rangers Are Still in Premiership Title Race

Kenny Dalglish believes Philippe Clement’s side remains in the title race despite missing the chance to overtake Celtic at the summit.

Following a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Ross County and a goalless draw against Dundee, Rangers secured a spot in the Scottish Cup final with a 2-0 victory over Hearts at Hampden Park on Sunday. However, in the league, they face an uphill battle as Celtic holds a three-point lead with only five games remaining.

Writing in the Sunday Post, Dalglish expressed his views, stating, “I don’t think it’s a done deal. There is still a title race on and it could very easily go right down to the wire.”

He continued, “Rangers need to improve and Philippe Clement needs to find solutions to his problems. Most people will say it’s Celtic’s to lose. Rangers deserve credit for getting back up beside them in the table, and they may well yet get back there by May 18.”

These words from the former player and manager shedding light on the ongoing drama in the Scottish Premiership as the season reaches its climax.
