Celtic Eye up Ex-Rangers Keeper as Joe Hart Replacement

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has identified Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly as a potential replacement for Joe Hart, according to journalist Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail.

Kelly, 28, is a product of the Rangers academy but never played a first-team game for the Ibrox side. After loan spells at East Fife and Livingston, he joined Motherwell permanently in 2018.

The Scotland international is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the Scottish Premiership and is available on a free transfer this summer as his contract expires.

Celtic are reportedly in the market for a new goalkeeper as current starter Joe Hart nears retirement.

Out of contract in the summer, Celtic are said to be considering a move for Liam Kelly as Joe Hart heads for retirement.
