Besiktas Considering Move for Rangers Forward Tom Lawrence

Rangers forward Tom Lawrence is attracting interest from several clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. The 30-year-old Welsh international has just one year remaining on his contract at Ibrox.

Besiktas, the Turkish club recently appointing former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst as their head coach, are reportedly considering a move for Lawrence. Van Bronckhorst was the one who brought Lawrence to Rangers on a free transfer from Derby County in 2022.

Lawrence’s former club Ipswich Town are also showing interest. The forward was a fan favorite and earned player of the year honors with Ipswich Town during the 2016-17 season. Manager Kieran McKenna is looking to add experience to his young squad returning to the Premier League.

Sheffield United are another club monitoring the situation. The Bramall Lane club, aiming for an immediate return to the Premier League after relegation, also tried to sign Lawrence before he joined Rangers.
